Day 1: Pokhara → Nayapul → Tikhedhunga

  • Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (1.5 hrs)

Day 7: Deurali → Annapurna Base Camp

  • Trek back downhill to Bamboo – ~6-7 hrs

To register for the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek, you must obtain two essential permits from the Nepalese government. Here’s how to do it:


Permits Required for ABC Trek

1. 🟦 TIMS Card (Trekkers’ Information Management System)

·         Cost:

o    NPR 2,000 (~USD 15) for individual trekkers

o    NPR 1,000 (~USD 8) for trekkers through registered agencies

·         Where to Get:

o    Nepal Tourism Board (Kathmandu or Pokhara)

o    Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) office


2. 🟩 ACAP Permit (Annapurna Conservation Area Permit)

·         Cost:

o    NPR 3,000 (~USD 23) for foreign nationals
