Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN)

Step-by-Step Registration Guide for Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek

✅ Step 1: Prepare Required Documents

Bring the following:

  • 2 passport-size photos
  • Photocopy of your passport
  • Details of your itinerary and dates
  • Cash in Nepalese Rupees (NPR)

Step 2: Get the ACAP Permit

  • Name: Annapurna Conservation Area Permit
  • Fee: NPR 3,000 (~USD 23)
  • Where:
    • Nepal Tourism Board, Kathmandu or Pokhara
    • Address in Pokhara: Damside Road, Lakeside

Step 3: Get the TIMS Card

  • Name: Trekkers’ Information Management System
  • Fee:
    • NPR 2,000 for individual trekker
